Senior Pastor Ben Lawson has been here for the past 27 years. Before coming to Aberdeen, he was serving at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale with Pastor Fidel Gomez. He met the love of his life Carla Lawson in Arizona and he has 5 lovely children with many grandchildren. He is an avid Green Bay packers fan! Carla Lawson is the Women’s Ministry leader here at CCSH..
.Associate Pastor David Howell has been associated with CC Sandhills since 2005; where he met and married, his darling wife, Karen, in 2006. David and Karen are blessed with a daughter, two sons, a daughter-in-law and three grandchildren. Besides being an avid history enthusiast, David’s passions and interests include: UNC Tarheel sports, Carolina Hurricanes hockey, bluegrass music, southern homestyle cooking, and barbequed dishes of every type and variety.
